What a wonderful group of stories! The exceptional quality of the writing made our job very pleasant but also hard to select a winner. There seemed to be a common theme of writers and writing in your responses to “Inspiration”, so we selected a story that we believe personifies the role of the artist since prehistoric times! Congratulations to everyone who is making the Voice club such a lively center of creativity.

Inspiration can come from almost anywhere – an experience from our past, an imagined encounter from our future, a chance remark overheard, a dream, a child’s game.
