Creative Performance of Sonatina by Muzio Clementi

Hi. My name is Andrei Kinev. I am in the eighth grade, and today I will play a sonatina by Muzio Clementi. This piece, Sonatina op. 36 no. 3, is a sonatina that has three parts; however, today I will only play the first two. This composition is enjoyable to play. The first part is quick, bright, and lengthy. The second part is short but unhurried. I also noticed a curious formation in this piece: both the first and second parts have an element where segments repeat twice, without change. I believe that this is a strategy that the composer used. For example, two pages repeat in part one. The first time we listen to this part we hear it not knowing what happens next. The second time we already know, and we hear it differently. I hope you enjoy.

Thanks, Andrei

Why do my friends need to SignIn to read the post I shared?

Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!
