Lies about Nephilim
Beasts.
Demons.
Hybrids.
Humans rant lies. We nephilim are not bogeymen! We are just mysterious giants. Why should humans fear our height and strength?
Last night, my wing accidentally cast a shadow on a house. Pots, pans and curses flew from a window. Shocked, I stumbled.
Today that human condemns, “Nephilim are monsters. Midnight, the nephilim cursed the sky putrid yellow, rotting our crops. Their evil rancour boiled the pond. Fearsome maws opened in the earth to devour our livestock. The beasts have doomed us.”
Such lies damn us. But why should humans fear us for our height and strength?

Nephilim are mysterious giants in the Bible. They are hybrid sons of fallen angels. They are mentioned in Genesis, but not much information is given.
I wrote this story for a drabble on Nephilim. It was rejected but funnily enough it contained the word “Midnight” so was perfect for Voice.Club.

I always enjoy stories about Nephilim! They always seem to be hated by all. Cast off from the angels but feared by humans! Your story encapsulates how they must feel perfectly!
