Dance, it is the witching hour!

The devil’s hour means supernatural beings are at their most powerful.

So dance my children, my stars, to keep them at bay.

Glisten! Shine bright! Glow! This is your mother Midnight asking you to radiant colour. We do not want evil to enter the world.

We must protect the rainbow, butterfly and unicorn life of earth!

Excellent work, you knocked a witch into oblivion! You disintegrated that demon by sparkling!

You gave that ghost a taste of his own boo! Good, a witching hour baby is frightening the ghouls away by his heavy sobs.

A lovely, lyrical celebration of night, stars, and good triumphing over evil. We loved the line “We must protect the rainbow, butterfly and unicorn life of earth!” A memorable title and a unique take on the midnight prompt.

This is a deep-seated story. The spiritual world is indeed vast. Who is the witching hour baby?

Margarida, I don’t know how I missed this little gem the first time around! I’m glad the Voice Team posted stories for us to read along with the new contest. I have more time now than I often do when a contest is underway, so I get to read in my leisure. This story is lovely – very poetic and hopeful. We certainly need help in overcoming the ghouls and witches, whatever… Read more »

Why do my friends need to SignIn to read the post I shared?

Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!
