Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!

It is beautiful and we miss it very much. We used to go there in the evening after work sometimes. Wish we still lived close enough for a regular visit.
Carrie, nothing refreshes the Soul -quite like the sound of water!

We live near a small river, and there are a couple of weirs on it, but there is nowhere you can sit and soak up the tranquility. We also have Rufford and Clumber Park, but no real waterfalls ?
The waterfall is beautiful. I also really like the rocks in the background. They have really cool shapes, it look like there are sheets of rocks stacked onto each other.
I believe that Swaledale was created by glacial flow, so rocks likely did get layered on top of each other. The countryside is beautiful.
