Lockdown Tea Rooms

A tearoom is unable to open due to the Covid-19 restrictions. A table that should be filled with laughter and conversation now sits empty and isolated.

Another sad and lonely photograph, Nikki. I can imagine people looking back at these in years to come and asking ‘But, where were all the people?’

I think the sadness will soon be forgotten amid the laughter and chatter, when tables are full again.

Eric is right. I do believe also that sadness will end soon and everything will be back to normal. That table and chairs will be full of conversation and laughter again.

In all its simplicity and emptiness, this is a beautiful and very artistic photo. It combines a lot of opposite ideas, such as styles, epochs and feelings.

Nikki, again I love the simplicity. This is beautiful.

I really like your description. I think the tea room will look beautiful once people are allowed to go.

Why do my friends need to SignIn to read the post I shared?

Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!
