First Sea Experience

Aliyah was seven months old when my sister invited us for a beach family bonding. At first, she feels uncomfortable wearing life jackets, and the saltwater makes her cry but after fifteen minutes she finally laughs, enjoying the saltwater.
She doesn’t want to go out in the water anymore.

That is one of those perfect shots that catches you by surprise when you get time to look back at your photographs. The ones that they don’t pose for are always the very best.

Such a lovely photo Lotchie. I smiled when you said she doesn’t want to go out in the water any more. I hope she will when she gets a little older.

I love the expression on Aliyah’s face – it seems to say ‘please rescue me, someone!’ When my eldest was a baby he used to scream so loud just trying to bath him that I thought the neighbours would call the authorities! But when he was older he became a diver on a fishing boat! I’m sure Aliyah will learn to love the water with her mother safely holding her 🙂

    Sharing a Post

Why do my friends need to SignIn to read the post I shared?

Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!
