Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!

Me too! I have even adopted one named Shocks.
Hi Daisy and Lotchie. I can remember going on a day out to Blackpool, and there on the beach you would pay as a small child for a ride on them.

I love them too, they are so cute.
Donkeys are such beautiful, curious, intelligent animals! I had two some years ago. The darkest one looks a lot like my boy – Jack 🙂 Thanks for sharing the lovely photo and bringing back a lovely memory for me!

I had a female donkey who originally came from the Simpson Desert and was brought back to Gippsland, Victoria (Australia) and used in a Riding for the Disabled program for many years before coming to me. And Jack who had a lovely nature. I really miss their braying although perhaps the neighbours don’t ?
? They sound wonderful. They still continue to fill me with wonder from their large ears to their loud brays.
