Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!

The sun has a wonderful effect on the picture. I especially love the title.
Thank you. A stroke of luck with the sun really. When I first took the photo it annoyed me that I hadn’t blocked the sun by standing so it was covered by the trees, but the photo grew on me and now I love it!
Very nice title. I love it. And the silhouette effect makes the picture perfect.
I love how the sun breaks through the trees, it’s beautiful.
It’s nice to have close up and clear photos but others, like this one, are really special, like a work of art. I’m glad you ended up liking it and I’m sure your son and his grandmother will treasure it.

You have an eye for an interesting shot Nikki, I’m very drawn to the length of your son’s shadow. He could be a giant!
Hi Nikki, your son does appear to have a ”Halo” ?.
