Almost four generations of family. I’m in my usual spot behind the camera, my Mum and Dad in the centre, my son, James and his girlfriend, Ellie, to the left of the picture and my daughter, Emily (still baking Jacob in the oven) and her boyfriend, Chris to the right.

A lovely memory for you, Carrie! Like you, I’m usually on the other side of the camera; much prefer it that way 🙂 When we click that button, I don’t think we realise just how special the photos and memories will one day be. Precious 🙂
It’s the only time we’ve ever all been together, which makes it all the more precious. I can’t believe it was about 5 years ago and now I have the two grandsons. I feel so blessed.
I know how you feel, Carrie. I have four adult children and they finally made it all together at my home eight years ago. Distance and various commitments always made it difficult and it was over ten years since they’d all been together. We had various combinations of three but always someone had to miss 🙁 Hopefully, covid-willing, we will get the chance again before too long and my two grandsons and granddaughter can be together instead of just on video calls (at least we have them but a real hug would be wonderful 🙂 ) Yes, I feel very blessed, too 🙂
This is a very important memory to you, Carrie. Priceless. Seeing your whole family happy and smiling is incomparable at any cost. Lovely photo, Carrie.
Thanks Lotchie, I count myself lucky that we’ve all come through the pandemic ok.

You’re welcome, Carrie. Yes, you are right.
A nice photo Carrie. It brings me down memory lane.
Thanks Thompson. It’s the one and only time we’ve all been together, so the photograph is extra special to me.
