Adopting a deaf, un-socialised puppy a year ago in the middle of a covid-lockdown has proved a huge boost for my writing.
The ideas for at least half the stories and poems I’ve written since then were conceived or developed on our long daily walks.
And Lily is thriving!

Actually, this is a voting security feature. During public voting, only club members can read posts submitted for that contest. Since anyone reading the story is able to vote (click the Like button), we reserve these capabilities to members who SignIn. Before we implemented this security feature, people were voting multiple times and making the public voting process unfair and out of balance. To fix this, our staff finally decided to allow only members who SignIn to read the stories. Membership is free and easy, and ensures our club is safe, secure, and family-friendly!

As they say with so many rescue dogs, they rescue us as much as we rescue them! She wakes early each morning and often I want to pull up the covers and stay sleeping but it’s amazing how often the ideas come as we walk. Thank you, Lotchie ?
