Feeling torn in two?
This mushroom is still thriving, held together by threads.
Nature’s surprise after a summer’s rain. Still thriving, it greeted day-peep once more.
Maybe I’ll strive to be like the mushroom someday, maybe I’ll also accept that I’m perfectly imperfect.
For now, I know, I’m only human.

Thank you for your lovely comment once again, Sandra. It has been a long year and I haven’t always been easy on myself. But I’ve accomplished a lot and I still show up everyday for what matters most. I suppose, the mushroom and I may have a few things in common after all. ☺️
Wow. I agree with Sandra. It is an amazing photo, and the description is very inspiring. We are perfectly imperfect but we are created perfectly out of our imperfections. Nice.

You’re welcome, Melissa. Yes, it is true.

My friends often lovingly poke fun at me, they’ve nicknamed me “professor.” I’ll have to share this comment with them. I tend to find deep meaning in the simplest of things. People view me as eccentric or artsy (this is not always intended as a compliment by them.) So, this means a lot to me. Thanks for taking the time to comment?
